James Zabiela

James Zabiela is a British DJ and producer from Southampton, England, who first rose to prominence after winning Muzik Magazine's Bedroom Bedlam competition in 2000. His style blends progressive house, breakbeat, techno and acid, and he is widely recognised for his technical command of CDJs, loopers, effects units and Ableton Live in live performance. He held a long-running residency at Space Ibiza under the We Love banner and has released acclaimed mix compilations on Renaissance and Ministry of Sound. In 2012 he launched his own label, Born Electric, through which he has released and curated music from artists including Hot Chip, Midland, Scuba and Tin Man.
