John Monkman

John Monkman is a London-based producer, DJ, and founder of the Beesemyer Music imprint, though he is US-born and UK-bred. His studio output spans labels including Kompakt, Ellum, Anjunadeep, Crosstown Rebels, and Last Night On Earth, with notable releases such as Siren on Kompakt, the Komplex EP on Anjunadeep, and multiple collaborations with Pete Tong. He achieved two Beatport number ones with his remix of Solomon Grey's Twilight and his single Don't Have to Be Beautiful, and has performed at major venues and festivals including Fabric, Coachella's DoLab stage, and Warung. His 2024 live show Pulse, a kinetic light art installation premiered in Paris, marked a further expansion of his audiovisual work.
