Oscar P is a DJ and producer raised in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Manhattan's Washington Heights, whose sound fuses Afro-Latino and deep house influences drawn from New York City, Chicago, and Detroit. He operates two underground house labels, Kolour Recordings and Open Bar Music, and has released productions on Strictly Rhythm, Tool Room, Ultra, and Sony Music. His extensive remix credits include work for Mark Farina, KiNK, Jamiroquai, Adele, and Todd Terry, among others. In 2012 he was named the number eight best-selling house music artist of the year on Traxsource.
