DAVI

DAVI is the project of Los Angeles-based Armenian DJ and producer David Khanjian, who studied at the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue electronic music. His sound is deeply melodic and genre-spanning, blending progressive house textures with dark basslines and lush melodies. He held a residency with Insomniac Events at Exchange LA and released the notable Crosstown Rebels EP Two Suns in the Sky in 2013, later using the same name for his own record label. His catalogue spans Anjunadeep, Treibstoff, Rebellion, and Baroque, and he has received support from John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, and Nick Warren.
